But when I got back to my hotel and looked at the silk more carefully, I realized it was fake. The quality was poor, and the colors were all wrong. I knew I had been scammed.I immediately called the police and reported the scam. They were very understanding and took my case seriously. They advised me to be more careful in the future and not to fall for such scams.My experience in Suzhou was a mixed one. The city was beautiful and full of history, but I wish I had been more careful about my silk purchase. It was a lesson learned for me, and I will be more vigilant in the future when traveling to new places.
