5、Bind off all 48 stitches.

6、Weave in all ends.

Collar:

1、Cast on 60 stitches (or more if you want a taller collar).

2、Knit 20 rows in garter stitch.

3、Change to stockinette stitch (K1, P1).

4、Knit another 20 rows in stockinette stitch, or until the collar is the desired height and width for your neckline.

5、Bind off all 60 stitches (or more).

6、Weave in all ends and turn the collar right-side out to block it to its final shape with a small amount of stuffing if needed to make it stand up a little better at the neckline if desired). Note: I found that blocking the collar after turning it right-side out gave me a much better fit and shape to my collar than if I had just left it inside-out while blocking). After blocking, I turned it right-side out and let it dry overnight and it came out looking great! You can also try using a small amount of polyfil or other stuffing material inside the collar to help shape it if needed before blocking). Enjoy your new cashmere sweater!
