Job Summary:
The Sofa Sampler will be responsible for creating detailed prototypes and models of our sofa designs. Responsibilities:
* Take accurate measurements of clients' rooms to ensure that our sofas fit perfectly
* Create custom templates using computer software such as AutoCAD or SolidWorks
* Use various materials and tools to construct prototypes and models, including wood, foam, and upholstery
* Collaborate with design teams to incorporate feedback and make necessary adjustments to the prototypes
* Present prototypes and models to clients for approval and feedback
* Ensure that all prototypes and models are completed on time and meet quality standards
* Keep detailed records of all prototypes and models created, including specifications, materials used, and any changes made during the production process
Requirements:
* Minimum 2 years of experience working as a sofa sampler or in a similar role
* Strong knowledge of furniture design principles and techniques
* Proficient in computer-aided design (CAD) software such as AutoCAD or SolidWorks
* Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
* Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
