A few weeks later, Lily's friends came to visit her and they all loved the new curtains. They even asked if they could borrow some of the excess fabric to make their own curtains.
"Sure," said Lily. "You can have all of it if you want. I'm glad I could get rid of those long curtains."
Her friends laughed and thanked her, and then they left to go home. As they walked away, Lily felt a sense of relief that she had finally dealt with those long curtains and made her bedroom look so much better.
