Baby Scarf Knitting Video Tutorial

What you’ll need:

Yarn in the color of your choice (we used a soft blue for this tutorial)
Scissors
Tapestry needle (optional)
Steps:
1、Cast On
Start by casting on the desired number of stitches. For this tutorial, we will cast on 12 stitches.
2、Knit Rows
a. Knit one row.
b. Increase one stitch at both ends of the scarf for a total of 14 stitches.
c. Knit another row.
d. Increase again at both ends for a total of 16 stitches.
e. Continue increasing in this manner until you have 28 stitches.
3、Shape the Scarf
a. Next, shape the scarf by knitting two rows without increasing.
b. Then, decrease one stitch at both ends of the scarf for a total of 26 stitches.
c. Continue decreasing in this manner until you have 12 stitches remaining.
d. Cast off.
4、Weave in Ends
Use a tapestry needle to weave in the yarn ends. Trim any excess yarn.
5、Blocking (optional)
Blocking is a great way to make your scarf lie flatter and look more professional. You can block your scarf by dampening it with water or steam, then shaping it as you like and allowing it to dry completely.
