Alice tried on the coat and felt its warmth envelop her body. She knew she had to have it. But she also knew that she didn't have enough money to buy it.
Mrs. Smith noticed Alice's hesitation and said, "Alice, you look so cold in that thin shirt of yours. Let me help you get this coat. It will be a good investment for you."
